Facilities
Princethorpe College and Sixth Form are located in a magnificent former Benedictine monastery set in two hundred acres of leafy Warwickshire parkland at Princethorpe, which is about seven miles from Leamington Spa, Rugby and Coventry.
The buildings have been extended and up-dated to provide twenty-first century facilities. There is a superb library for study and pupils can call upon a professional librarian to help them with research. ICT facilities are available in most teaching rooms and in two dedicated suites, the library and in individual departments. Elsewhere, the new Sports Centre, with its Fitness Suite, floodlit all-weather pitch and extensive playing fields cater for the demands of the College’s busy sporting calendar.
In late 2007 a new £2.4 million dedicated Sixth Form Centre opened, affording Princethorpe Sixth Formers an even greater degree of independence and space in which to learn and grow. Built around a stunning atrium, the new building provides classrooms, a lecture room, common room, a Sixth Form dining room, coffee bar and a careers room and is linked to the main school building on two levels by a walkway.
