Princethorpe College Sixth Form students hosted their annual senior citizens’ Christmas Lunch on Wednesday December 2nd. Over 60 guests and their carers from the local parish and nearby residential/day homes for the elderly attended the special event. Music and carols were provided by Sixth formers  to create a special Christmas atmosphere. Food was served by sixth form volunteers who happily engaged in conversation with their elderly guests who recounted tales of Chritmases gone by.

Assistant Head of Sixth Form and organiser of the event Mrs Anne Allen commented,

‘This has become a high point in our College calendar. The students get so much out of the occasion. We all come together to begin the season of advent enjoying good food and company. It was a lovely occasion.’
