The Admissions Process

The admissions process is quite straightforward:

Request a Prospectus
You can request a prospectus pack via this page or by contacting Mrs Anna Bond, Secretary on 01926 514444 or email annab@crackleyhall.co.uk.

Visit the School
We encourage prospective pupils and their parents to visit us both formally and informally to get a true flavour of the school.

Our Open Days in 2009 are on Thursday February 26th, Thursday March 12th and Thursday May 21st from 10.00am to 3.30pm - giving visitors a chance to see the school in action on a normal working day.

We are also holding an open afternoon on Sunday March 15th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm. This is an informal opportunity to look around the school and to meet members of staff and pupils.

Alternatively if you can't make our Open Days,  telephone us and come on a day to suit you; you will get the opportunity to meet the Headmaster and have a tour of the school with some of our older pupils.

Register
Those interested in a place should complete an application form and return it with a registration fee of £25 (non-returnable). Your child will then be invited to spend a preliminary day with us, and children in Years 1 to 6 will be given assessments in Mathematics and English.

Offers
Following this preliminary day, confirmation of a place being offered would be made in writing. To secure your place return your completed admissions form with a deposit of £200.  This deposit will be refunded at the end of the final term which the pupil spends at the school.

Induction
New pupils get the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the school, staff and fellow pupils at the end of the Summer Term.
